Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Visakhapatnam is a new generation IIM, set up by the govt. of India in 2015. The Institute offers a two-year residential Post Graduate Program MBA, under the mentorship of IIM Bangalore. Recently, it has started a novel Post-Graduate Certificate Program in Business Management for Experienced Professionals (PGCEP) with atleast three years of work experience. Admission to PGCEP is done through its own written test and a personal interview.
IIM Visakhapatnam - Admission Criteria
The first PGP shortlist is made as per the performance of candidates in CAT. IIM-V considers both the sectional and overall percentile.
The final selection list is prepared based on the candidate’s score in CAT, Academic Performance, Work Experience, and performance in Personal Interview. The weightage criteria for various factors are as follows:
CAT score: 25%
Personal Interview: 48%
Class 10th marks: 4%
Class 12th marks: 4%
Graduation marks: 4%
Work Experience: 10%
Diversity (female/transgender): 5%
