IIM Bengaluru Cut Off

IIM Bengaluru is one of the oldest IIMs set up by the government. IIM Bengaluru is well known for its international exchange programmes and collaborations, which give a distinct flavour to its academic programmes. IIM-B considers both the overall and sectional percentiles of CAT. The sectional cut off for CAT 2021 was as follows:

VARC: 80

DILR: 75

Quant: 75

The IIM Bengaluru cutoff figures for reserved category is relaxed to some extent, but the selection process is rigorous. 

IIM Bengaluru Selection Criteria

IIM Bengaluru has a two-step selection process for MBA admissions. The first phase applies to all those who take the CAT to determine the candidates to be called for personal interview (PI) and essay writing. The topics typically reflect current political, economic and business affairs, though sports and creative topics may also be included. The interview panel evaluates each candidate on academics, work experience and other traits. The scores of both the written note and the interview, apart from CAT scores, are used cumulatively during the final selection process. As per the latest official notification, there are a few changes in the weightage of various admission factors. So, the different weights allotted to each part of the selection process for admissions 2023-25 will be:

CAT cutoff for IIM-B is disclosed along with the results. Here, we have given the institute's cut-off figures for CAT 2021. The cut-off for 2022 is expected to be on the same lines as it was last year.
