IIM Sirmaur Admission Criteria 2020-2022

IIM Sirmaur presents selection criteria for its 6th MBA Batch (2020-2022). IIM Sirmaur reserves the rights to change any part of their admission policy including cut-offs and criteria mentioned at any point of time until the admissions are completed for the said batch.

A. Admission to the MBA program at IIM Sirmaur for the batch 2020-2022 shall comprise of following parameters under Common Admission Process (CAP):

  • CAT 2019 Score
  • Personal Presence Process (PPP): Written Ability test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI), as per the shortlisting criteria mentioned in the table below
  • Announcement of final merit list based on composite score using weightages as per valid parameters mentioned in Table 2 below.
1. Common Eligibility Criteria for Shortlisting Candidates for WAT & PI process:

As IIM Sirmaur will be following the Common Admission Process as nine other participating IIMs (except for supernumerary seats for Girl Students).

*work experience gained through full-time employment will be considered for calculation of work experience score. Also, only completed months will be considered. The length of experience till 31st July 2019 will be considered.

Commerce/Economics: Accountancy, Auditing, Banking, Business Mathematics, Business Administration, Business Organization, Commerce, Economics, Economic Development and Planning, Public Administration, Public Finance, Secretarial Practices.

Chartered Accountancy, Cost and Works Accountancy, Company Secretary ship

Final discretion on the academic category that an academic program will be classified into rests with the Admissions Committee of IIM Sirmaur.

B. Admission for Supernumerary Seats for Girl Students

The admission process under supernumerary quota for girl students shall be conducted separately by the institute and shall have the following selection parameters:

  • CAT 2019 Score
  • WAT & PI Score
  • Academic Performance
  • Work Experience
  • Academic Diversity

C. Admission for International Students

The admission process under supernumerary quota for international students shall be conducted separately by the institute and the selection process will be as followed:

Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification (from at least a three year programme) with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA/Grades from a recognized university/institute after at least 12 years of school education
  • Valid CMAT/GRE score (Taken within last 5 years)
  • Only valid for international students who are not a citizen of India

Selection Process

  • Shortlisted candidates will be called Personal Interview via email
  • Invited applicants can appear for interview at IIM Sirmaur campus or through remote video conferencing
  • Final selection is based on a diverse set of features that include GMAT, Personal Interview, Academic Performance, co-curricular and extra-curricular achievements, and work experience.
