Indian Institute of Management, Ranchi is a public business school situated in Ranchi, Jharkhand. It was among the six new IIM's approved by the Union Cabinet in 2009, aimed at creating diversely skilled and competent human resources which lead to the development of an intellectual society, and in turn impact the growth of the society. IIM Ranchi offers post graduate diploma programmes that are equivalent to an MBA degree including a standard post graduate diploma in management (PGDM), human resource management (PGDHRM), a full-time doctoral programme (FPM) and a part-time executive program (PGEXP).
