The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) is popular for its two-year MBA in International Business in its New Delhi and Kolkata campuses. It conducts a paper based test named IIFT, generally in the month of November, to shortlist candidates for its MBA - International Business Program. The exam will be held on 22nd November 2015. The test areas over the last few years have been Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation, Reading Comprehension, Verbal Ability, Logical Reasoning and General Awareness. Following are the important IIFT trends that we have noticed: Firstly, number of questions varies every year. The exam is of 100 marks. Cut- offs are generally low and for the previous few years have been hovering around 38-48 marks. It depends on the difficulty level of the exam, number of candidates appearing for the exam in a particular year.
The written exam is followed by Group Discussion, Essay Writing and Personal Interview. On the basis of the candidates’ performance and the IIFT cutoff, the IIFT will make a merit list for the second round of Group Discussion, Personal Interview and Essay Writing. The IIFT cutoff will be declared by the institute once the results are out.
