Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is conducted by XLRI on behalf of XAMI affiliated institutes. Around 90,000 candidates appear for it every year. Apart from the 11 XAMI institutes, about 150+ associated institutes accept XAT scores. Some of the top XAT-accepting B-schools include XLRI, S.P. Jain, XIMB, etc.

These institutes shortlist candidates on the basis of their XAT scores and then carry out the subsequent selection rounds to finalize their admissions. The overall admission parameters include XAT score, GD/PI/WAT/GE scores, academic profile, work experience, etc.
