Q. How many attempts should one take for NMAT?
That’s a subjective question. Some students do exceedingly well in the first attempt, while some do better in retakes. Having said that, a test taker will not lose out if he/she takes NMAT only once. It is advised to not get misled by others opinion on tests being easy or difficult in any given period of the test window. Also, there is no guarantee that the scores will improve in subsequent attempts/retakes. In NMAT, percentile scores are calculated after all test takers have taken their test(s) and so taking the test at a particular time will not make much difference.
A test taker will have to wait at least 15 days before he/she can apply for a reappear. Test takers are required to pay the applicable fee for each Reappear attempt.
