About EDII
Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDI), an autonomous and not-for-profit institute, set up in 1983, and has helped set up twelve state-level exclusive entrepreneurship development centres and institutes.
EDI has established a Centre for Research in Entrepreneurship Education and Development (CREED), to investigate into a range of issues surrounding small and medium enterprise sector through its publications. Internationally it efforts to develop entrepreneurship by way of sharing resources and organising training programmes along with World Bank, Commonwealth Secretariat, ILO, British Council, Ford Foundation, European Union, ASEAN Secretariat and several other renowned agencies.

Intake Capacity:
Intake Capacity: The approved intake capacity is 120 seats for full-time PGDM –BE. Over and above the approved intake of 120 students for the programme, the Institute has received the approval from AICTE for an additional intake of 15% (i.e. 18 seats) for Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs)/Foreign Nationals in PGDM-BE Programme for PIOs and Foreign Nationals from the academic session 2013-15. AICTE Approval for 5 % NRI seats (within the sanctioned intake of 120) has also been approved.Eligibility Criteria:
A three-year (10+2+3) University Degree in any discipline or a four year (10+2+4) Engineering / Technology / Medicine / Other, recognized by the UGC/AIU/AICTE are eligible for Post Graduation, with not less than 50% overall aggregate marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to the Reserved category, as per norms) .Post Graduate Diploma in Management
