# Syllabus for 2017 IIFT Exam

The prestigious Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) has a 2-stage admission process. In the first stage, it conducts a paper based objective type test to shortlist candidates for the next stage of admission. The institutes' admission brochure for 2018-20 mentions the following regarding IIFT syllabus:

"It generally consists of questions covering English Comprehension, General Knowledge & Awareness, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Analysis"

This statement just talks about the sections of the exam, which are:

• Section 1: Quantitative Ability
• Section 2(a) : Analytical and Logical Reasoning
• Section 2(b): Data Interpretation
• Section 3(a): Reading Comprehension
• Section 3(b): Verbal Ability
• Section 4:General Awareness

By indicating only the broad areas from which questions might be asked, IIFT examiners have retained the flexibility to change the pattern and syllabus of the test, as required.
