SIBM cut off is declared after the SNAP results are out. Each participating institute declares its own individual SNAP cut off. There is no sectional cut off as a part of the SIBM cut off score. The academic profile of the candidate is also considered; hence one cannot be too much dependent on the SIBM cut off. The SIBM cut offs predicted by the media are only indicative and cannot be taken as final. The official SIBM cut off will be declared by SIBM at the time of the admission. One has to do well in the second round after qualifying the SNAP to get final admission. Each candidate is sent an email indicating the institutes he/she has been short-listed for Group exercise, Personal Interaction and Writing Ability Test (GE-PI-WAT).
Many parameters including the SNAP Score, Academic Profile Score, Writing Ability Test, Group exercise, Personal Interaction and Work Experience, if any, count towards the final offer of admission. The Academic Profile Score depends on your scores in Xth, XIIth and graduation exams. While writing skills, creativity and critical thinking are integral requirements, due credit is also given to the quality of content during evaluation. This year, SNAP cut off for SIBM Pune is around 97 percentile.
