All About MAT 2016 Registration

Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a national level examination conducted since 1988 to screen candidates for management programs. After getting approval in 2003 from the MHRD, Govt. of India, MAT is now a gateway for over 600 Management Institutes/ Universities/ Programs. Some of the top-rated colleges under MAT include TAPMI, VIT Business School, NIT Warangal, Christ University, ISB&M, etc. MAT is conducted four times a year in the months of February, May, September and December. Following are the details for MAT (Feb) 2016:

Eligibility:

Graduates in any discipline
Final year students in Graduate Courses are also eligible to apply
Check with Individual Institutes for additional program specific requirements

Important Dates:

Last Date for Online Registration	27 January, 2016 Wednesday
Late Date for Online Filling-up/ Purchase of Form	23 January, 2016 Saturday
Last Date for submission of completed Printout of Registration Form at AIMA, New Delhi	27 January, 2016 Wednesday
MAT Admit Card available	From 30 January, 2016 Saturday
MAT February, 2016 (Paper Based)	07 February, 2016 Sunday
MAT February, 2016 (Computer Based)	13 February, 2016 Saturday onwards^*
Announcement of Result	SMS notification will be sent by AIMA
^*If the number of candidates registered for Computer Based Test is limited, the candidates will be accommodated in a single day and the test will be completed on 13 February 2016

Registration Process:

Candidates can choose any one of the following modes to apply for MAT 2016:
- Register online at website http://apps.aima.in/matfeb16 with Credit Card/Debit Card (ATM Card) payment OR
- Register online at website http://apps.aima.in/matfeb16 by making payment of Rs.1200/- through Net Banking OR
- Obtain crossed Demand Draft (DD) of Rs 1200/- in favour of ‘All India Management Association’ payable at Delhi from any Bank. Register online at website http://apps.aima.in/matfeb16 along with the DD details
- Obtain OMR Registration Form with MAT Bulletin/CD against cash payment of Rs 1200/- (One thousand two hundred only) from AIMA, New Delhi
Detailed step-by-step procedure about registration is given on the official AIMA website. For online registration you will need a scanned copy of your photograph and signature.
All Forms received at AIMA are validated within 5 days and the Form Numbers of such received forms will be available on http://apps.aima.in/mat_reciept.aspx. If found in order, the form is provisionally registered. Forms received later than the due date is liable to be rejected and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained nor will the fee be refunded.
